Benin v Mauritania: starting line-ups confirmed for 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier

The starting line-ups have been announced for Benin’s meeting with Mauritania in the second round of 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying.

The match is being played on neutral ground at Stade Olympique Alassane Ouattara d’Ebimpe on Tuesday, 29 September 2026.

Benin coach has kept Marcel Dandjinou in goal, with captain Sessi D’Almeida leading the defence. Junior Olaitan and Aiyegun Tosin are included in attack as the Guepards look to break through Mauritania’s defence.

The Mourabitounes will start with Mbacke Ndiaye in goal, while captain Bodda Mouhsine lines up in midfield. Aboubakary Koita and Oumar Ngom will lead the Mauritanian attack as they target a positive result away from home.

The match is the second fixture of the qualification campaign for the CAN.
