Togo land in Zambia for 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier

Togo’s national team arrived in Zambia on Sunday morning ahead of their second match in the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign.

The delegation, including the coaching staff, officials and media representatives, has settled in Zambia with the Eperviers focused on building on their opening result.

Togo began their campaign with a 1-0 victory over Burundi and will hold their first training session in Zambia on Sunday afternoon. The session will give the technical staff an opportunity to assess conditions and fine-tune their tactical plans before the match.

The Eperviers will face Zambia on Tuesday, 29 September at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola, with kick-off scheduled for 16:00 GMT.

Zambia will be seeking a response after losing 3-1 to Algeria in their opening fixture. Togo, meanwhile, are aiming for another positive result as they look to strengthen their position in Group I.
