Stal Rzeszow sign French-Moroccan winger Amine Naifi
French-Moroccan winger Amine Naifi has joined Polish club Stal Rzeszow, completing a move to the Betclic 1 Liga side after leaving 1. FC Saarbrucken.
Naifi, 26, has signed a contract running until 30 June 2027. The left winger arrived at Stal Rzeszow on 16 September, having been without a club since departing Saarbrucken at the beginning of July.
The move takes Naifi to Poland after two seasons with Saarbrucken, where he won the Saarland Cup in 2023-24 and 2025-26. He made his move to the German club from Luxembourg side FC Differdange 03 in July 2024 after initially joining Saarbrucken on loan during the 2023-24 campaign.
Naifi’s career has included spells in France, Luxembourg and Germany. He began his senior career with Amneville before moving to US Sarre-Union, then spent time at Schiltigheim and Differdange 03. He also came through the youth system at Metz.
The Sarre-Union-born player has operated mainly on the left side of attack and is comfortable using either foot. He stands 1.83m tall and has also played in central attacking roles during his career.
At 3. Liga level, Naifi made 45 appearances, scoring seven goals and providing four assists. In National 3, he recorded 13 goals and two assists in 51 appearances. His record in Luxembourg included six goals and four assists in 12 BGL Ligue matches, while he also contributed in domestic cup competitions.
Naifi helped Differdange win the Luxembourgish Cup in 2022-23 and the Luxembourgish championship in 2023-24 before returning to Germany. His honours also include two Saarland Cup victories with Saarbrucken.
He now joins Stal Rzeszow in Poland’s second tier, with the contract securing his stay at the club through the end of the 2026-27 season.
