Mohamed Yassine Azzouz: Moroccan-Belgian midfielder linked with PAOK Saloniki B move
Mohamed Yassine Azzouz, the Moroccan-Belgian attacking midfielder at OH Leuven U23, has been linked with a move to PAOK Saloniki B in Greece.
The 19-year-old currently plays in Belgium’s 1ste Nationale VV, while PAOK Saloniki B compete in Super League 2. Azzouz has started all three of OH Leuven U23’s league matches this season, completing 270 minutes without scoring or providing an assist. He has received one yellow card.
Azzouz joined OH Leuven U23 from the club’s Under-18 side in July 2024. He had moved into OH Leuven’s youth system from Club Brugge’s academy the previous year, following his earlier development at Lokeren.
The midfielder remains under contract with OH Leuven until 30 June 2027. The reported interest from PAOK Saloniki B therefore concerns a player who is still tied to his current club, with no transfer fee or agreement reported.
Azzouz’s potential move would represent a switch from Belgium’s third-tier national competition to the Greek second tier, but the rumour remains unconfirmed. He has made three appearances for OH Leuven U23 at the start of the 2026-27 campaign and remains part of the club’s squad.
