Chippa United and Mamelodi Sundowns name starting line-ups for Betway Premiership clash

Chippa United and Mamelodi Sundowns have confirmed their starting line-ups for today’s Betway Premiership meeting at Buffalo City Stadium.

Chippa United are still searching for their first league victory of the season after taking four points from five matches, with four draws and one defeat.

Mamelodi Sundowns, by contrast, remain unbeaten after seven league games. They have recorded six wins and one draw, leaving them at the top of the table.

Sundowns also have the historical advantage in this fixture. Masandawana have not lost to Chippa in 16 meetings and have won eight of their past nine encounters.

The match was moved to Buffalo City Stadium because the pitch at Nelson Mandela Stadium was unavailable.

Chippa United will begin with Nwabali in goal, behind Boy, Majadibodu, Mobara and Jones. Seabi and Mosele are also included, while Tshobeni, Matrose, Khanyi and Figuareido complete the starting XI.

Mamelodi Sundowns will line up with Williams, Ndamane, Kekana, Morena and Basadien in defence. Mokoena and Allende are named in midfield, with Letlhaku, Matthews, Ndlovu and Leon also starting.
