AS Real de Bamako and Vitesse FC were level at 0-0 at half-time in the second leg of their first-round CAF Confederation Cup qualifying tie at Stade Modibo Keita.
Both sides created attacking opportunities during the opening 45 minutes, but neither was able to find the accuracy needed in the final third to break the deadlock.
The scoreline currently favours AS Real de Bamako, who secured a 2-1 victory in the first leg. That result gives the Mali side the advantage on aggregate and leaves them in control of the qualification position for now.
Vitesse FC must take greater risks after the break if they are to overturn their one-goal deficit and keep their campaign alive. The second half is therefore set to decide a closely contested tie, with qualification for the next round still within reach for both teams.
