Paris Saint-Germain have extended Luis Enrique’s contract until the summer of 2030 and secured the futures of five players, including Joao Neves, in a major move to maintain continuity at the French club.

The Spanish manager joined Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2023 and has now been rewarded with a new long-term agreement. During his time in charge, Enrique has led the club in 178 matches, recording 123 wins, 29 draws and 26 defeats.

Under Enrique, Paris Saint-Germain have won the Champions League twice, the French league three times, the European Super Cup twice, the Intercontinental Cup once and the French Super Cup three times.

The club’s decision to extend the manager’s contract underlines the importance of his role in the team’s recent success. His new deal will keep him at Paris Saint-Germain until the end of the 2029-30 season.

Joao Neves has also agreed a contract extension that runs until 2031. The Portugal midfielder joined Paris Saint-Germain and has made 100 appearances for the club, scoring 14 goals and providing 14 assists.

His new agreement is intended to secure the player’s long-term future in Paris, with the club placing him among the key members of its squad.

Paris Saint-Germain have also announced new contracts for Lucas Beraldo, Senny Mayulu and Willian Pacho. All three players have extended their stays with the club until the summer of 2031.

Fabian Ruiz has signed a separate extension that will keep him at Paris Saint-Germain until the summer of 2028.

The series of renewals covers the manager and several important members of the squad, with the club confirming the agreements together as it continues its current campaign.

Paris Saint-Germain are facing Monaco at the Parc des Princes in the third round of Ligue 1. The match is being played as a meeting between two of the division’s leading sides, with the club’s contract announcements coming as Enrique’s team take on their domestic rivals.

The new agreements mean Enrique, Joao Neves, Lucas Beraldo, Senny Mayulu and Willian Pacho are all tied to Paris Saint-Germain until 2030 or beyond, while Ruiz’s contract now runs through 2028.
