“We have a big goal of winning the Champions League again” – Morocco and PSG star Achraf Hakimi

Morocco international Achraf Hakimi has reiterated Paris Saint-Germain’s ambition to win the UEFA Champions League again as the French giants continue their pursuit of European glory.

The PSG defender made the remarks after his side secured an impressive 4-2 victory over Barcelona on Tuesday evening, delivering another statement performance on the European stage.

PSG have strengthened their credentials as serious contenders following their convincing displays against top European opposition, having also recorded a 4-2 victory over Manchester City last week.

Speaking after the Barcelona encounter, Hakimi expressed his satisfaction with the team’s performance and stressed that their ultimate objective remains winning the Champions League.

“We have a big goal we are striving to achieve this year: to win the Champions League again. Our goal is to continue winning,” the Moroccan star said.

Hakimi also praised head coach Luis Enrique for maintaining a strong winning mentality within the squad, insisting that the players remain committed to meeting the high standards expected of them.

“The coach makes sure every day that we don’t lose the winning mentality. We do our best, and I hope we continue to achieve victories,” he added.

The 27-year-old believes PSG have the quality and mentality required to compete with the best teams in Europe as they seek to add another Champions League crown to their trophy collection.
