Hatta Club add Egypt midfielder El Sayed El Ghadery on free transfer

Egypt midfielder El Sayed El Ghadery has joined Hatta Club from Khan Shekhoun on a free transfer, becoming a new addition to the UAE Pro League side’s midfield.

The 21-year-old defensive midfielder completed the move on 29 August 2026 and has signed a contract with Hatta running until 30 June 2028.

El Ghadery moves to the United Arab Emirates after spending the previous season with Khan Shekhoun. He joined the club from Royal FC Dubai on 16 October 2025, having made the switch to Royal from La Viena FC on a free transfer the previous month.

His time at La Viena followed a move from Zamalek U21 in August 2024. The transfer to Hatta is therefore his fourth club move since leaving Zamalek’s under-21 side.

El Ghadery has one recorded Egypt Cup appearance, playing 66 minutes in the competition. His listed position is defensive midfield, a role he will now take into Hatta’s squad for the 2026-27 campaign.

The move continues the Egypt-born player’s progression through clubs in the region after spells with La Viena FC, Royal FC Dubai and Khan Shekhoun. His latest switch also takes him into the UAE Pro League, following his previous club career in which Khan Shekhoun’s competition listing was not specified.

Hatta have secured El Ghadery without a transfer fee, with the player’s arrival formally dated 29 August 2026. He is contracted to the club until June 2028.
