CF Talavera add Moroccan-Spanish midfielder Mohammed Tahri after free-agent exit
Moroccan-Spanish attacking midfielder Mohammed Tahri has joined CF Talavera from Mensajero on a free transfer, giving the Segunda Federacion side a new option in the centre of the pitch.
The 24-year-old has signed a contract running until 30 June 2027 after completing his move on 29 August 2026. Tahri’s arrival places him at a club competing in Segunda Federacion – Group V, following a spell with Mensajero.
Tahri plays primarily as an attacking midfielder. He has already made one appearance in the 2026-27 season, featuring for 88 minutes in Promocion a 2a Federacion before switching clubs.
The move continues a sequence of free transfers for the player, who joined Mensajero from Manresa on 12 August 2025. He had previously moved from CD Pozoblanco to Manresa on 1 January 2025, also without a transfer fee.
Tahri began that run of senior club changes after leaving Becerril for CD Pozoblanco in July 2024. Before that, he had joined Becerril from Cristo Atl. B at the start of the 2023-24 season.
Born in Had Boumoussa, Tahri is eligible to represent both Morocco and Spain. He stands 1.78m tall and is listed as a midfielder, with attacking midfield as his main position.
His latest move brings him to CF Talavera on a free transfer at the start of a contract that lasts through the end of June 2027. Tahri is now part of the club’s squad for its Segunda Federacion campaign.
