Mickael Nade: French-Ivorian defender joins Rodina Moscow on loan from United FC

French-Ivorian centre-back Mickael Nade has joined Rodina Moscow from United FC on loan, adding a 1.93m defender to the Russian Premier Liga club’s squad.

The 27-year-old’s move was completed on 27 August 2026, one day after he joined United FC from Saint-Etienne for €1.5m. His loan spell at Rodina Moscow runs until 30 June 2027, when he is due to return to the UAE Pro League side.

Nade, who was born in Sarcelles, France, is a left-footed central defender. He spent the majority of his senior career with Saint-Etienne, progressing through the club’s youth system before moving into the first team.

His development at Saint-Etienne included a loan period with Quevilly Rouen during the 2020-21 season. He returned to Saint-Etienne at the end of that campaign before remaining with the French club until his move to United FC this week.

Rodina Moscow compete in Russia’s Premier Liga, while United FC play in the UAE Pro League. Nade’s arrival therefore represents a move into a new league and a second transfer in as many days.

The defender’s current market value is €3m, while his new Rodina Moscow registration is set to last through the end of the 2026-27 campaign. He has been assigned squad number 75 at the Russian club.

Nade began his football journey with Sarcelles before joining Saint-Etienne’s academy at under-17 level in 2014. He later progressed to the club’s under-19 and reserve sides, establishing a pathway into senior football.

The transfer gives Rodina Moscow a defender with experience in French football and a recent permanent move to United FC behind him. Nade has now completed his loan transfer to Rodina Moscow through 30 June 2027.
