Fulham and Eintracht Frankfurt target Rennes midfielder Djaoui Cissé

Fulham and Eintracht Frankfurt are reportedly interested in signing Stade Rennais midfielder Djaoui Cissé, with the 22-year-old attracting attention from several clubs ahead of a possible move.

According to Foot Mercato, both clubs could make offers for the midfielder, although Cissé is reportedly more attracted to a move to fellow French side RC Strasbourg Alsace.

No agreement has yet been reached between Rennes, Strasbourg and the other interested clubs, leaving Cissé’s next destination uncertain.

Rennes exit appears increasingly likely

Despite having a contract with Rennes until 2030, Cissé appears increasingly likely to leave the club this summer.

The midfielder has found his opportunities limited by growing competition for places at Rennes, prompting him to consider a move that could provide more regular first-team football.

Cissé made 24 Ligue 1 appearances last season, starting 12 of those matches.

Cissé attracts growing interest

The midfielder’s performances have also earned him recognition at international level.

Cissé is a France Under-21 international and has won eight caps for the side, scoring four goals.

His combination of Ligue 1 experience and youth international pedigree has made him an attractive option for clubs looking to strengthen their midfield.

Fulham and Eintracht Frankfurt are now among the latest clubs reportedly monitoring his situation, while Strasbourg remain Cissé’s preferred destination.
