Renato Sanches: Hull City linked with Paris SG U23 midfielder
Portuguese midfielder Renato Sanches, currently with Paris SG U23, has been linked with a move to Hull City in the Premier League.
The 29-year-old joined Paris SG U23 on 1 July 2026 after returning to Paris St-Germain from a season-long loan at Panathinaikos. His contract with the French club runs until 30 June 2027.
Sanches has previously played in the Premier League, making 12 appearances during a loan spell with Swansea in the 2017-18 season. He also has experience in Ligue 1, where he has recorded 90 appearances, eight goals and nine assists.
The midfielder began his senior career with Benfica and moved to Bayern Munich in 2016 after helping Portugal win the European Championship. He was named the 2016 Golden Boy and won four Bundesliga titles during his time in Germany.
Sanches returned to France with Lille in 2019 before joining Paris St-Germain in 2022. He subsequently spent time on loan at Roma, Benfica and Panathinaikos, with the latter spell ending on 30 June 2026.
He is currently valued at €2m and remains under contract with Paris SG U23, with Hull City’s reported interest emerging on 25 August 2026.
