Marc Cucurella handed Real Madrid number 17 ahead of Sociedad test

Real Madrid have formally presented Spain international Marc Cucurella as their latest summer signing, with the left-back joining from Chelsea days before the club’s rearranged La Liga meeting with Real Sociedad.

Real Madrid are understood to have agreed a fee of about 60m euros for the 27-year-old defender. The move takes Cucurella back to the Spanish top flight after an eye-catching spell in the Premier League with Chelsea.
