Mohamed-Ali Cho travelling for Hull City medical as Nice move nears

Hull City are close to completing the signing of Mohamed-Ali Cho after reaching a verbal agreement with OGC Nice for the 22-year-old winger, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The transfer is expected to be worth £13m, which equates to about €15m, with the possibility of substantial additional payments being added through performance-related bonuses. Some of those bonuses are understood to be linked to Hull City remaining in the Premier League at the end of the 2026-27 season.

Cho is due to travel to England in the next few hours to continue the move. A medical has already been scheduled, with the formal completion of the transfer due to follow if he comes through the examination successfully.

The France-born forward, who has Moroccan and Ivorian heritage, remains under contract with OGC Nice until June 2028. His current estimated value is €15m, according to Transfermarkt.

A move to Hull City would give Cho the opportunity to begin a new chapter in the Premier League. The winger has been developing his career in France and is now poised to join the Tigers, subject to the final stages of the deal being completed.

The agreement comes as OGC Nice prepare for their second Ligue 1 fixture of the season, against Paris FC. Nice will continue their domestic campaign while negotiations over Cho’s departure move towards a conclusion.

For that match, the betting odds listed by 1xbet price an OGC Nice victory at 3.20, with a draw at 3.30 and a Paris FC win at 2.10.
