Crystal Palace linked with Monaco midfielder Lamine Camara
Senegalese midfielder Lamine Camara, currently at Monaco, has been linked with a move to Crystal Palace.
The 22-year-old plays in central midfield and has been with the Ligue 1 club since joining on 30 July 2024. He is contracted to Monaco until 30 June 2029.
Camara’s valuation is €40m, a figure that underlines the significance of any potential move to the Premier League. No transfer fee or agreement has been reported, and the link remains a rumour rather than a confirmed negotiation.
Born in Diouloulou, Senegal, Camara has represented his country and was part of the side that won the African Nations Championship in the 2022-23 season. He also won the Under-20 Africa Cup with Senegal in 2023.
The right-footed midfielder’s current status at Monaco is central to the speculation: he remains a contracted player at the French club, with four years left on his deal.
