Mohamed Grendo: Egypt striker joins Pharco FC on a free transfer

Egyptian centre-forward Mohamed Grendo has joined Pharco FC from El Mahalla on a free transfer, completing his move on 9 August 2026.

The 35-year-old has signed a contract with Pharco that runs until 30 June 2028, extending his stay at the club through the end of the 2027-28 season. Grendo becomes part of Pharco’s attacking group after leaving El Mahalla, who compete in the Premier League.

Grendo was born in Egypt on 7 August 1991 and plays primarily as a centre-forward. He is right-footed, giving Pharco an experienced attacking option as they reshape their squad for the new campaign.

His move brings a change of club within Egyptian football after his time with El Mahalla. The transfer was completed without a fee, and Pharco have secured his services under a deal lasting almost two years from the date of his arrival.

Grendo’s current market value is listed at €75,000, while his new contract places him at Pharco until June 2028. The club’s announcement of his registration follows the completion of the switch, with the Egyptian forward now officially part of the Pharco squad.

Mohamed Grendo has therefore completed his free transfer from El Mahalla to Pharco FC and is contracted to the club until 30 June 2028.
