FCE MA sign French-Moroccan midfielder Mohamed Tariqui from Trelissac
French-Moroccan defensive midfielder Mohamed Tariqui has joined FCE MA from Trelissac FC on a free transfer.
The 24-year-old made the move on 4 August 2026, switching between two clubs in National 2 Group A. Tariqui has played primarily as a holding midfielder and is right-footed.
Tariqui made 22 appearances and scored three goals in National 2 Group A, playing 1,419 minutes in the competition. Across his recorded National 2 campaigns, he has accumulated 58 appearances and seven goals.
He spent the 2025-26 season with Trelissac after joining the club from Stade Bordelais on another free transfer in July 2025. Before that, he moved from Merignac to Stade Bordelais in July 2022, also without a transfer fee.
The midfielder’s wider record includes four appearances in the Coupe de France and two in the Coupe Gambardella, where he scored once. He also registered 25 appearances and four goals in National 2 Group B, along with 11 appearances in National 2 Group D.
Born in Pessac on 31 March 2002, Tariqui is listed at 1.84m tall and holds French and Moroccan nationality. His arrival gives FCE MA another midfield option as the club continues its campaign in National 2 Group A.
Tariqui’s transfer to FCE MA was completed on 4 August 2026.
