Anfane Ahamada leaves FC Villefranche after one season in Ligue 3

Comoros-France midfielder Anfane Ahamada has left FC Villefranche and is now without a club after completing his departure from the Ligue 3 side on 5 August 2026.

The 24-year-old defensive midfielder joined Villefranche from Lyon La Duchere on 1 July 2025, having made that move as a free transfer. He spent one season with the club before ending his association with them.

Ahamada featured in both the National 3 and Ligue 3 competitions during his career at Villefranche. He made 25 appearances in National 3, accumulating 1,859 minutes, and played 21 times in Ligue 3, with 905 minutes recorded. His time at the club followed a season with Lyon La Duchere, where he had also arrived as a free agent from Racing CFF in July 2024.

The midfielder began his senior career after leaving Paris St-Germain, where he had progressed through the club’s youth system. He moved from PSG to FC Martigues on loan in September 2022 before returning to the Paris club at the end of that season. He subsequently became without a club in July 2023 and joined Racing CFF in February 2024.

Ahamada was born in Villepinte and holds Comoros and French nationality. He stands at 1.81m and is right-footed. His primary position is defensive midfield.

His career also includes appearances in France’s youth and lower divisions, as well as involvement in youth competitions during his time with PSG. He made four appearances in the UEFA Youth League and played in the Coupe de France, alongside spells in National 1 and National 2.

Ahamada’s market value was recorded at €100,000 when he left Villefranche, with his highest recorded value standing at €150,000. No transfer fee was recorded for his departure.

The move makes Ahamada a free agent following his spell with FC Villefranche, which ended on 5 August 2026.
