Torino linked with Atalanta midfielder Ibrahim Sulemana in potential Serie A move

Ibrahim Sulemana, the Ghanaian defensive midfielder at Atalanta, has been linked with a move to Torino in a potential Serie A transfer.

Sulemana, 23, is under contract at Atalanta until 30 June 2028, meaning any move would require an agreement between the two Italian clubs rather than a free transfer. He returned to Atalanta at the end of June after spending the latter part of the 2025-26 season on loan at Cagliari.

The midfielder joined Atalanta from Cagliari in July 2024 in a deal worth €7.4m. He also spent part of the 2025-26 campaign on loan at Bologna before moving to Cagliari in January.

Sulemana has made 65 Serie A appearances and scored five goals. His league experience includes spells with Atalanta and Cagliari, while his senior club career began at Hellas Verona after progressing through youth football in Italy.

The reported interest from Torino comes with Sulemana’s current market value listed at €6m. No transfer fee or agreement has been reported, and the potential move remains at the rumour stage.

Atalanta remain his current club, with Sulemana’s existing contract running for two more seasons beyond the current campaign.
