Inter U20 target Verona teenager Abdul Alim Compaore in Primavera 1 move

Italian and Burkina Faso midfielder Abdul Alim Compaore is being linked with a move from Verona U18 to Inter U20 in Italy’s Primavera 1 league.

The 16-year-old defensive midfielder only joined Verona U18 on 1 July 2026 after progressing from Hellas Verona’s Under-17 side. The reported link with Inter comes shortly after that move, with no transfer fee or agreement disclosed.

Compaore made four appearances for Verona U18 and played 142 minutes in the early stages of the 2026-27 campaign. He previously featured 23 times for Hellas U17 during the 2025-26 season, scoring twice, and also appeared in two Under-17 finals matches.

Before moving into the Hellas Verona academy, Compaore spent the 2025-26 season with Brescia’s youth set-up. He joined Brescia U17 from the club’s youth ranks in July 2025 before completing a free transfer to Hellas U17 the following month.

The proposed destination, Inter U20, competes in Primavera 1, Italy’s top domestic under-20 competition. The rumour does not include a reported valuation, contract terms or indication of how advanced any discussions may be.

Compaore remains a Verona U18 player, having joined the club at the start of July, while the reported interest from Inter has yet to result in a confirmed transfer.
