Al-Kawkab sign Ivory Coast striker Guillaume Daho from Mudhar Club

Ivory Coast centre-forward Guillaume Daho has joined Saudi Arabian club Al-Kawkab from Mudhar Club, completing a move on 4 August 2026.

Daho, 31, arrives after one season with Mudhar, whom he joined from Al-Anwar in August 2025. The Ivorian forward had previously spent a season at Al-Anwar after leaving Arar FC in September 2023.

The 1.73m striker’s recorded league figures include five goals and one assist in 22 Botola Pro Inwi appearances, with 1,486 minutes played. He has also featured in the CAF Champions League, CAF Confederation Cup and Club World Cup during his career.

Daho is a right-footed centre-forward and has spent much of his career in Saudi Arabia since moving to Al-Taqadom from Al-Ahly in January 2020. He subsequently represented Al-Jandal, Bisha FC, Al-Nahdah FC, Arar FC, Al-Anwar and Mudhar Club before switching to Al-Kawkab.

His career also includes a spell with Moroccan side Wydad Casablanca, where he was part of the team that won the CAF Champions League in the 2016-17 season. Daho joined Wydad from Africa Sports in August 2017 and later spent time on loan at RAC Casablanca during the 2017-18 campaign.

The forward began his senior career with Africa Sports after leaving his previous club in July 2014. His move to Wydad came after the start of the 2017-18 season, while his loan spell at RAC Casablanca ended in June 2018 before he returned to Wydad.

Daho now continues his career with Al-Kawkab, his latest club in Saudi Arabia, after completing the move from Mudhar Club.
