Excelsior sign Dutch-Tunisian winger Aymen Sliti from Feyenoord on loan

Aymen Sliti, the 20-year-old Dutch-Tunisian winger, has joined Excelsior from Feyenoord on loan until 30 June 2027.

The left-sided attacker switches clubs within the Eredivisie after establishing himself as part of Feyenoord’s senior set-up. Sliti joined Excelsior on 4 August 2026 and will spend the 2026-27 campaign with the Rotterdam club before returning to Feyenoord at the end of the loan.

Sliti made 23 Eredivisie appearances during his career before the move, scoring twice. He has also featured in European competition, recording three Europa League appearances and two assists, while making one appearance in the Champions League.

Born in Hengelo, Sliti represents the Netherlands and Tunisia internationally. He was part of the Netherlands Under-19 team that won the European Under-19 Championship in 2025.

Sliti developed at Feyenoord after moving from FC Twente’s youth system in 2020. He progressed through Feyenoord’s academy, joining the club’s Under-18 side in 2022 before moving to the Under-21 team in 2024. He subsequently stepped up to Feyenoord’s first team in September 2025.

The move gives Excelsior a left-footed attacking player who operates primarily on the left wing. Sliti is 1.79m tall and joins a club that, like Feyenoord, competes in the Eredivisie.

His record across Feyenoord’s youth teams includes goals and assists in domestic Under-18 and Under-21 competitions, as well as appearances in the UEFA Youth League. He also scored twice in a single Under-21 Cup Netherlands appearance.

Sliti’s transfer follows a progression through Feyenoord’s youth structure that began six years after he joined the club from FC Twente. His temporary move to Excelsior is the latest step in that development, with his parent club retaining his registration beyond the 2026-27 season.

Excelsior have completed the loan signing of Aymen Sliti from Feyenoord, with the winger’s spell scheduled to run until 30 June 2027.
