Samba Mbengue: Senegal defender linked with MAS Fes transfer
Samba Mbengue, the Senegalese centre-back at AJEL Rufisque, has been linked with a move to Moroccan club MAS Fes, with the reported interest placing the 19-year-old in line for a potential switch from Senegal’s Ligue 1 to Botola Pro Inwi.
Mbengue made 26 Ligue 1 appearances during the 2025-26 season, playing 2,248 minutes for AJEL Rufisque. He joined the club from Wally Daan on 15 September 2025 in a free transfer.
Born in Thies on 5 July 2007, Mbengue stands 1.83m tall and is left-footed. He is listed as a central defender and has represented AJEL since making the move last year.
The reported approach from MAS Fes would link the defender with a club competing in Morocco’s top flight, although the transfer has not been confirmed. No fee or agreement has been reported, and Mbengue remains an AJEL Rufisque player.
