Kaizer Chiefs target four keey signings as Fernando Da Cruz begins squad rebuild
Newly appointed Kaizer Chiefs head coach Fernando Da Cruz has revealed that the club is working on bringing in four new players as part of efforts to strengthen the squad ahead of the new season.
The French tactician confirmed that Amakhosi are prioritising reinforcements in key attacking positions, with the club searching for a winger, strikers and an offensive midfielder to add more quality and depth to the team.
Da Cruz, who recently took charge of the Soweto giants, believes the additions will be crucial as Kaizer Chiefs look to improve their performances and compete more strongly in domestic competitions.
“We are looking for players who can bring something different to the team,” Da Cruz said, highlighting the need for attacking reinforcements.
The club’s management is currently assessing several options in the transfer market as they work alongside the coach to identify suitable targets who fit the team’s plans and ambitions.
The search for a new attacking core comes as Chiefs aim to build a more competitive squad under Da Cruz, who is expected to implement his philosophy and guide the club back to challenging for major honours.
With the transfer window providing an opportunity to reshape the team, Kaizer Chiefs supporters will be hoping the club can complete the signings quickly and bring in players capable of making an immediate impact.
