Juventus are tracking Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta as a potential attacking reinforcement – but face competition from Manchester United and Atletico Madrid for the French forward’s signature.

The 27-year-old, who represents France but has Congolese heritage, has emerged as a serious option for several of Europe’s biggest clubs after a series of eye-catching performances in the Premier League.
