Abdellah Haimoud: Morocco midfielder joins KACM Marrakech from Al-Taawon
Moroccan midfielder Abdellah Haimoud has joined KACM Marrakech from Libyan side Al-Ta’awon, signing a contract with the Botola Pro Inwi club until 30 June 2028.
The 25-year-old central midfielder returns to Moroccan football after a spell in the Libyan Premier League, where he featured for Al-Ta’awon following a move from French side FC Rouen 1899 in 2025. His switch to Marrakech is a permanent transfer, with no fee disclosed by the clubs.
Casablanca-born Haimoud, who stands at 1.72m and plays predominantly as a central midfielder, previously made his name with Wydad Casablanca. During his time there he won the Moroccan league title twice, in 2020-21 and 2021-22, and lifted the CAF Champions League in 2021-22.
Haimoud’s experience stretches beyond domestic competition. He has amassed 67 appearances in the Botola Pro Inwi, as well as 23 outings in the CAF Champions League and games in the African Football League, underlining his exposure to high-level continental football.
After leaving Wydad in 2024, Haimoud briefly found himself without a club before joining FC Rouen 1899, and then moved on a free transfer to Al-Ta’awon the following year. His latest move comes with a reported market value of around €300,000, reflecting his standing as an established midfielder in the region.
Haimoud, who is right-footed and has also featured in the Coupe du Trone, officially became a KACM Marrakech player on 15 July 2026 and will remain under contract with the club for the next two seasons.
