Egyptian giants Al Ahly SC have officially announced the termination of their contract with winger Mahmoud Hassan “Trezeguet” following mutual discussions between both parties.

The club confirmed that the decision was reached amicably after consultations with the player, with a financial settlement agreed upon as part of the process. Al Ahly said the agreement reflects the strong relationship between the club and the Egyptian international.

In an official statement, Al Ahly thanked Trezeguet for his contributions during his spell with the team, praising his commitment and efforts alongside his teammates in helping the club compete for success across various competitions.

“Al Ahly extends its sincere thanks to Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet for his efforts during his time with the team, during which he gave his utmost alongside his teammates to achieve the best possible results,” the club stated.

The Egyptian winger paid tribute to the club’s passionate fanbase, describing them as a major source of motivation throughout his career and acknowledging their continuous encouragement.
