Rio Ngumoha: Liverpool winger linked with Paris St-Germain move

England and Nigeria-qualified winger Rio Ngumoha is being linked with a move from Liverpool to Paris St-Germain. The 18-year-old left-sided attacker is under contract at Anfield until 30 June 2028, with the proposed move representing a switch from the Premier League to Ligue 1.

Ngumoha has made five appearances for Liverpool across all competitions this season, starting in both his Champions League and EFL Cup outings. He has also featured three times in the Premier League, although he is yet to score or provide an assist.

The teenager joined Liverpool’s senior set-up in July 2025 after moving from the club’s under-18 side. He initially joined Liverpool Under-18s from Chelsea’s youth system in September 2024 in a deal worth €3.2m.

Ngumoha plays primarily as a left winger and is right-footed. His current market value is recorded at €30m, while his contract gives Liverpool control of his situation for the next two seasons beyond the current campaign.

Any move to Paris St-Germain would see Ngumoha leave a Liverpool side in which he has begun to make appearances in domestic and European competition. The reported interest remains unconfirmed, and there is no indication that an agreement has been reached between the clubs.
