Hamid Djaouchi: CS Constantine sign Algeria forward on free transfer from USM Khenchela

CS Constantine have signed Algerian centre-forward Hamid Djaouchi from Ligue 1 rivals USM Khenchela on a free transfer. The 31-year-old moves within the Algerian top flight after his deal was completed on 7 July 2026, joining his new club with a current market value of 275,000.

Djaouchi, a right-footed striker, returns to a higher-profile stage in domestic football after an impressive rise in his valuation during his spell at USM Khenchela. His market value increased sharply in 2025, peaking at 300,000 in June of that year before stabilising at 275,000 over the subsequent 12 months, underlining his status as an established attacking option in Ligue 1.

Before his move to Constantine, Djaouchi rejoined Algerian football in August 2024 with USM Khenchela following a stint in Saudi Arabia. He spent two and a half years in the kingdom with Al-Qaisumah FC, Jeddah SC and Al-Diriyah FC between 2022 and 2024, experience that expanded his career beyond North African competitions.

The forward previously represented several Algerian clubs, including MC Alger, USM Bel Abbes and USM El Harrach, as well as a spell in Tunisia with Club Africain and CS Hammam-Lif earlier in his career. His market value first climbed above 100,000 during his time at JSM Skikda in 201617, reflecting a steady progression through domestic and regional ranks.

Djaouchi now adds further depth and experience to CS Constantines attack as he continues his career in Algerias top tier.
