Vozinha: Cape Verde goalkeeper linked with move to Brazilian side Feira FC

Cape Verde goalkeeper Vozinha, currently without a club after leaving Portuguese side GD Chaves, has been linked with a move to Brazilian outfit Feira FC.

The 40-year-old free agent, valued at around 50,000, is available on a potential free transfer following his departure from Chaves at the start of the 202627 season. A switch to Feira would mark the first move of his career to Brazil after more than a decade playing across Europe and Africa.

Vozinha, a 1.89m right-footed goalkeeper born in Mindelo, has spent recent seasons in Portugal and Slovakia. He joined Chaves from AS Trencin in July 2024, having previously moved to the Slovak club from Cypriot side AEL Limassol in 2022.

His peak market value came during a long spell at AEL Limassol, where his valuation reached 600,000 in 2018 before gradually declining with age. Even at 40, his current estimated value has remained stable at 50,000 through his late years at Chaves.

Before his time in Cyprus, Vozinha played in Portugal for Gil Vicente and in Moldova with FC Zimbru Chisinau, after earlier stints in Angola with Progresso do Sambizanga and in his homeland with CS Mindelense and Batuque FC. That experience across several leagues underpins his profile as a veteran option for Feira.

The rumoured move remains at an early stage, with no agreement announced between Vozinha and Feira FC.
