Oscar Siafa: ASA Targu Mures sign Equatorial Guinea striker on free transfer from CSM Slatina

ASA Targu Mures have signed Equatorial Guinea international forward Oscar Siafa from Liga 2 rivals CSM Slatina on a free transfer. The 28-year-old centre-forward moves within Romanias second tier with a current market value of 200,000.

Madrid-born Siafa, who holds both Equatorial Guinean and Spanish nationality, joins ASA Targu Mures after a single season at Slatina. His value rose there from 175,000 in December 2025 to 200,000 by June 2026, underlining his status as one of the more highly rated attacking options in Liga 2.

Standing at 1.91m and primarily operating as a central striker, Siafa offers a physically imposing presence in attack and is right-footed. His arrival strengthens ASA Targu Mures in a key area of the pitch as they add a forward already acclimatised to Romanian football and the level of competition in Liga 2.

Siafas move continues a busy period in his career, following a series of transfers across Europe in recent seasons. Before arriving in Romania with CSM Slatina in July 2025, he played in Italy for Pro Vercelli and Forza e Coraggio Alessandria, and in Malta for Birkirkara.

Earlier in his career he featured in Greece for Olympiakos Volos and Niki Volos, where his market value climbed as high as 225,000, and previously played in Spains lower divisions with clubs including CD Laredo, UD Alzira and FC Cartagena B. Across these spells his valuation has fluctuated between 50,000 and 225,000, reflecting his development and moves between leagues.

Siafa now begins the 2026-27 campaign as an ASA Targu Mures player in Romanias Liga 2 after completing his free transfer from CSM Slatina.
