Aqtay Abdallah: Al Ahly Sign Egypt Forward from Enppi in 630k Deal

Al Ahly have completed the signing of Egyptian centre-forward Aqtay Abdallah from Premier League rivals Enppi SC in a permanent transfer worth 630,000.

Abdallah, 23, joins the Cairo giants as a right-footed central attacker, adding depth to Al Ahlys options through the middle. The move keeps him in the Egyptian Premier League and follows a rapid rise over the past two seasons, during which his market value climbed to 250,000.

The 1.82m forward moves to Al Ahly after a year with Enppi, having joined them from Tanta SC in July 2025. His progression since that switch has been reflected in a sharp increase in valuation, with his estimated worth growing from 100,000 to 250,000 between March and May 2026 while at the petroleum club.

Abdallahs transfer to Al Ahly underlines his status as one of the emerging domestic attackers in Egypt, with the countrys most successful club opting to invest significantly above his current market value to secure his services. He continues his career in familiar surroundings, remaining in the same league but stepping into a squad competing at the top end of the division.

An Egypt-born player, Abdallah has been registered with Al Ahly as his national team designation and now links up with the club at senior level following his development in domestic football. His primary role remains through the centre of the attack, with his profile and age offering Al Ahly a forward option with room for further growth.

Abdallahs move from Enppi to Al Ahly is effective from 7 July 2026 for the 2026-27 season.
