Moussa Gueye: Dos Hermanas CF 1971 sign Senegal midfielder on free transfer from Extremadura

Senegalese midfielder Moussa Gueye has joined Dos Hermanas CF 1971 on a free transfer from CD Extremadura 1924 ahead of the 2026-27 season in Spain.

Gueye, 27, arrives at the Andalusian club after returning to Extremadura this summer from a season-long loan at CD Don Benito. His move to Dos Hermanas marks the latest step in a career spent entirely in Spanish football since leaving his homeland.

A central midfielder by trade, Gueye has built up experience across several Spanish clubs in recent years. Before signing for Extremadura in 2024, he played for CD Castuera and CD Colunga, having first broken into Spanish senior football with CD Marino following a spell at CD Marino B. He initially moved to Spain in 2019 from Senegalese side Amitie FC.

Gueyes market value previously peaked at 50,000 during his time with CD Marino, where he was twice assessed at that figure between 2020 and 2021. His valuation later fell to zero during his spell at Colunga in 2022, underscoring the extent to which his career has fluctuated across Spains lower divisions.

The switch from Extremadura, who compete in Primera Federacion Group I, to Dos Hermanas gives Gueye a new platform after his loan at Don Benito concluded at the end of the 2025-26 campaign. His latest move continues a sequence of short-term spells, but also underlines his status as a player trusted by clubs across different regions of Spanish football.

Gueyes transfer to Dos Hermanas is confirmed as a permanent deal without a fee.
