Couhaib Driouech: PSV winger linked with move to Celta Vigo in La Liga switch rumour
Morocco-Netherlands winger Couhaib Driouech of PSV is being linked with a move to La Liga side Celta de Vigo as the Spanish club assess wide attacking options.
Driouech, a 24-year-old left winger who prefers to operate on the left cutting in from the right foot, joined PSV Eindhoven from Excelsior Rotterdam ahead of the 2024-25 season and has seen his market value rise to 7.5m in recent months.
Born in Haarlem and eligible for both Morocco and the Netherlands, the 1.75m attacker has developed entirely in Dutch football and has been listed with PSVs first team after his move from Excelsior, where consistent Eredivisie performances helped push his valuation upwards.
Driouechs emergence at Excelsior, where his market value rose sharply between 2023 and 2024, appears to have been a key factor in attracting interest from clubs outside the Netherlands, with Celta now credited with an interest as they look to La Liga for offensive reinforcements.
The winger has progressed steadily through Dutch clubs, moving from SC Heerenveen to Excelsior in 2021 before earning his step up to PSV in 2024, a trajectory that underlines his status as a late-blooming wide attacker now drawing attention from another major European league.
No agreement is reported between PSV and Celta de Vigo and the rumour remains at an early stage, with Driouech currently a PSV player valued at 7.5m.
