Santa Clara have been linked with a move for FC Dinamo goalkeeper Devis Epassy as the Liga Portugal side assess their options in goal ahead of the summer window.

The 33-year-old, who holds both Cameroonian and French nationality, is currently on the books of Romanian SuperLiga club Dinamo and wears the number one shirt. According to data from Transfermarkt, the reported interest from Santa Clara has emerged with the probability of a deal still listed as “?” and no confirmed agreement between the clubs.

Epassy, valued at around €400,000, could be an appealing target if he becomes available as a free agent, with his contract situation at Dinamo not publicly specified and no expiry date recorded. That uncertainty has fuelled speculation that the goalkeeper’s future in Bucharest may be entering a decisive phase.

Born on 2 February 1993 in Soisy-sous-Montmorency, the 1.89m right-footed stopper has carved out a career across European football and represents FC Dinamo 1948 at club level. Comfortable as a traditional last line of defence, his experience in the Romanian top flight is seen as a potential asset for Santa Clara as they look to strengthen for the demands of Liga Portugal.

Recent performances for Dinamo have kept him in the spotlight. In their latest SuperLiga outing earlier this month, Dinamo faced a crucial league fixture in which Epassy started in goal, helping to keep the scoreline tight over 90 minutes with a series of important interventions, underlining his role as first choice in Romania.

With his market value modest by top-flight standards and his next move yet to be resolved, any transfer to Santa Clara would offer Epassy a fresh platform in Portugal and could prove a significant late-career step in shaping his reputation and future prospects in European football.
