Amad Diallo reveals Bruno Fernandes is his trusted adviser at Manchester United

Manchester United winger Amad Diallo has revealed that captain Bruno Fernandes is the teammate he turns to whenever he needs advice, praising the Portuguese midfielder for his support since arriving at Old Trafford.

The Ivory Coast international explained that their shared ability to speak Italian makes communication easier, allowing him to seek guidance on personal matters and football-related challenges.

“Bruno is the guy I like to talk to when I have a little bit [of a] problem or if I need advice from a player. When I need advice on something, I’m always going to Bruno to talk to him, because he speaks Italian,” Amad said.

The 24-year-old added that Fernandes has played a significant role in helping him settle and develop at Manchester United, particularly when he needs another perspective on difficult situations.

“So, for me, it’s easy to ask him what he thinks, which advice he can give me, and I think the player that’s helped me a lot here is Bruno,” he explained.

Amad also paid tribute to former United defender Eric Bailly, revealing that the Ivorian was another important figure in his early days at the club.

“But also when Eric Bailly was here, I was very close to him, but yeah, after Eric, I think Bruno is the guy that helped me a lot since I arrived in this club,” he added.

Fernandes’ influence extends beyond his responsibilities as captain, with his experience and willingness to support younger teammates making him an important figure in the dressing room.

Amad hopes to continue learning from the United skipper as he seeks to improve his performances and establish himself as one of the club’s leading attacking players.
