Morocco took centre stage during PUMA’s global national team kit reveal in New York City, highlighting the country’s growing influence in international football.

Rather than a traditional stadium launch, PUMA transformed Domino Square into a vibrant street event, blending football, music, and culture in a celebration that felt authentic and community-driven.

Players from the 11 featured nations showcased the kits in live street matches, giving fans a first-hand look at the designs in action. Morocco’s presence stood out, reflecting its status as one of PUMA’s key partners in Africa.

The brand has nurtured a strong relationship with Moroccan football, emphasising not only on-field performance but also cultural identity and fan engagement.

The event paid tribute to Moroccan and North African communities in Queens, particularly around Steinway Street, often referred to as “Little Morocco.” Morocco’s space at the launch featured cultural elements, design, and cuisine, reinforcing the connection between football and community.

“We wanted to connect with fan communities by showing up in places that matter to them,” said Nadia Kokni, PUMA Vice President Global Brand Marketing. Morocco’s inclusion demonstrates the national team’s rising importance on the global stage, fueled by both strong performances and passionate fan support.

PUMA confirmed its long-term commitment to Moroccan football, working closely with the federation and players to make the national team kit more than just a jersey. Plans for additional activities in Morocco in the coming months underline the partnership’s ongoing growth.

The kit launch featured 11 countries across four continents, including Senegal, Ghana, Portugal, and Egypt, positioning PUMA among the most visible brands in football ahead of major international tournaments.
