Moroccan forward Mahmoud Bentaik laughs off Al Ahly move and sidesteps legal talk on Zamalek
Moroccan forward Mahmoud Bentaik, one of Zamalek’s standout players, appeared as a guest on the prank show “Ramez Level El Wahsh” hosted by Egyptian entertainer Ramez Galal during Ramadan on MBC Masr.
Throughout the episode, Galal fired a series of teasing and provocative questions at the Zamalek star.
Bentaik chose not to answer when asked who he considers the best player in Egypt between Emam Ashour and Ahmed Sayed Zizo, brushing past the topic rather than picking sides. He also avoided a more sensitive question about whether he might file a lawsuit against Zamalek over unpaid financial dues, refusing to be drawn into any legal controversy on air.
Galal then pushed him on speculation about a possible move to Al Ahly, reminding him that “Zizo appeared on the show, said ‘no’, and then joined Al Ahly.”
Bentaik responded with a laugh, saying: “Zizo said no? Then I’ll say yes,” turning the moment into a light-hearted joke rather than a serious transfer hint. His playful answer kept fans talking, but he stopped short of making any firm declaration about his future.
