Moroccan forward Soufiane Rahimi propelled Al Ain FC to a thrilling 3-2 victory over Khor Fakkan Club on Friday in Round 18 of the UAE Pro League.

Rahimi’s hat-trick proved decisive, securing all three goals for the visitors and underlining his pivotal role in the squad.

He broke the deadlock in the 20th minute with a powerful strike from outside the box. Khor Fakkan responded in the 60th minute when Moroccan striker Tarik Tissoudali converted a penalty to level the score.

Rahimi restored Al Ain’s advantage in the 69th minute and completed his treble with a dramatic goal in the second minute of stoppage time, ensuring the win.

At 29, Rahimi continues to cement his reputation as one of Al Ain’s most influential players. Known for delivering in crucial moments, the Moroccan international has been instrumental in the club’s attack this season.

Rahimi’s career highlights include finishing as the top scorer of the 2020 African Nations Championship, helping Morocco lift the trophy, and becoming the all-time top scorer for Morocco at the Olympics following the 2024 Paris Games.

His consistent international performances earned him the title of Men’s World Best International Goalscorer in 2024 from the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS).

Since joining Al Ain, Rahimi has carried his prolific form abroad, emerging as one of the UAE Pro League’s most dangerous and reliable forwards.
