Tottenham to launch €32m bid for Moroccan winger Abde Ezzalzouli

Tottenham Hotspur are preparing a €32 million bid for Moroccan international Abde Ezzalzouli, as the Premier League club looks to strengthen its attack following Heung-min Son’s move to Los Angeles FC.

The 24-year-old winger has enjoyed a breakout season at Real Betis, attracting interest from several European clubs, including Aston Villa, Paris Saint-Germain, and Napoli.

Tottenham are reportedly in pole position, with Spanish and British media reporting that the London club considers Ezzalzouli the ideal addition to their squad for the 2026-27 campaign.

Aston Villa, under Unai Emery, are also monitoring Ezzalzouli closely. The English side have tracked the winger for months, aiming to bolster their offensive options in the coming season.

Ezzalzouli’s consistent performances in La Liga and European competition have fueled the growing demand. This season, he has scored five goals and provided four assists in 16 league appearances.

In the Europa League group stage, he has added three more goals, cementing his role as a key player for Betis.

His performances earned him a spot among the five finalists for La Liga’s Player of the Month award for February 2026.

On the international stage, Ezzalzouli has become a mainstay in the Moroccan national team, playing every minute of the seven matches at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

Financially, a transfer would represent a major operation for Betis, who acquired the winger in 2023 for €7.5 million.

Barcelona is entitled to 50% of any future transfer fee through a sell-on clause, guaranteeing the Catalan club a substantial share of any deal.

While the Premier League appears to be the most likely destination, Ezzalzouli’s performances have caught the attention of major European clubs beyond England, indicating a competitive summer transfer window ahead.

As the 2026 transfer window approaches, Abde Ezzalzouli has emerged as one of the most sought-after talents in European football, with multiple top clubs ready to invest heavily for his signature.
