Brahim Diaz nears Real Madrid exit amid Premier League interest
Brahim Diaz looks set for a decisive summer as his Real Madrid future hangs in the balance, with several Premier League sides closely following his situation.
The Morocco international has seen his importance at the Santiago Bernabéu decline sharply this season, raising the likelihood of a move when the transfer window opens.
Diaz chose to remain in Madrid last summer despite having offers elsewhere, believing he could earn a regular place under then-head coach Xabi Alonso. That gamble has not paid off. His game time dropped notably from late September, with only 506 La Liga minutes and three starts so far this campaign.
A change in the dugout to Arbeloa has not improved matters, as Diaz has mostly been restricted to late substitute appearances, including brief cameos against Villarreal in the league and Benfica in the Champions League.
With his prime years ahead of him and English clubs circling, the upcoming window could finally push Diaz toward a fresh start away from Madrid.
