Ademola Lookman rediscovers his love for football with flying start at Atletico Madrid

Ademola Lookman has made a stunning start to life at Atletico Madrid, scoring in every competition less than a month after arriving from Atalanta.

Since completing his move on 2 February, the Nigerian forward has already found the net in La Liga, the Copa del Rey, and the Champions League, instantly becoming a key attacking threat for Diego Simeone’s side.

Lookman has featured in five games so far, registering multiple goals and adding one assist as he quickly adapts to Atleti’s system and demands.

Signed for €35 million and tied down on a contract until the summer of 2030, he looks like a long-term pillar of the Madrid club’s project.
