Joshua Zirkzee set for possible Serie A return this summer
Joshua Zirkzee is increasingly likely to leave Manchester United at the end of the season and head back to Serie A, with several top clubs monitoring his situation.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that the Dutch striker is expected to be one of the more in-demand forwards on the market.
Zirkzee was already linked with Juventus and Roma during the January window, but a move never materialised. Roma have since signed fellow Dutch attacker Donyell Malen permanently from Aston Villa, which appears to have cooled their immediate interest.
Juventus, however, remain a realistic destination, although much will depend on Manchester United’s summer plans, including who will be in charge, whether they qualify for the Champions League and how they reshape their attack.
Despite limited minutes, Zirkzee has earned internal praise for his attitude and professionalism, staying fully engaged and ready to help the team when called upon.
The 24-year-old has made 18 appearances for United this season, scoring two goals and providing one assist, and is expected to push for a move where he can secure regular starts and continue his development at the highest level.
