Brazil schedules friendly against Egypt as final test before facing Morocco in 2026 World Cup
The Brazilian Football Confederation has confirmed that the national team will play a friendly against Egypt as part of their final preparations ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
The match is set for June 6 at Huntington Bank Field in Cleveland, Ohio, and will serve as the last tune-up for the Seleção before the tournament kicks off.
Veteran Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti will lead Brazil into the fixture, which comes after preparatory friendlies against France on March 26 in Boston and Croatia on March 31 in Orlando.
The World Cup draw placed Brazil in Group C alongside Morocco and Scotland. The Seleção are set to face Morocco on June 13 at 11 pm.
Meanwhile, Egypt, in Group G with Belgium, Iran, and New Zealand, will use the friendly as a key step in their own World Cup preparations.
