Morocco left-back Ayoub El Malki switches to Amal Tiznit after Libya spell
Morocco left-back Ayoub El Malki has joined Amal Tiznit from Libyan Premier League club Shabab Al-Ghar on a free transfer.
The 31-year-old defender completed the move on 18 August 2026 and has signed a contract with the Botola Pro Inwi club until 30 June 2027. El Malki’s arrival gives Amal Tiznit an experienced option on the left side of their defence as they strengthen their squad for the new campaign.
Born in Casablanca on 19 June 1995, El Malki has spent the latest stage of his career outside Morocco. His switch to Amal Tiznit brings him back into Moroccan football after his spell with Shabab Al-Ghar in Libya.
El Malki’s preferred position is left-back, where he has established his role as a defender. He joins an Amal Tiznit side competing in Morocco’s top division, moving from the Libyan Premier League to the Botola Pro Inwi.
The transfer was completed without a fee, with the player’s contract now tying him to Amal Tiznit through the end of June 2027. His market value is listed at €100,000, while his highest recorded valuation has been €150,000.
For Shabab Al-Ghar, the move marks the end of El Malki’s time at the Libyan club. For Amal Tiznit, it represents the addition of a Moroccan defender with experience of playing in another national league.
El Malki is now an Amal Tiznit player following the free transfer completed on 18 August 2026.
