CR Belouizdad has secured the future of striker Lofti Boussouar after confirming the 21-year-old has signed a contract extension that keeps him at the Algerian club until 2029.
The announcement ends uncertainty over the forward’s short-term future, with his previous deal entering its final six months.
In a statement released on Monday, CR Belouizdad confirmed that the academy graduate will continue his development in red and white despite reported interest from clubs abroad.
“CR Belouizdad announces the renewal of the contract of striker Lofti Boussouar for three years, until the end of 2029.
This agreement reflects the mutual trust between the two parties, given the player’s exceptional performance and great commitment on the pitch, which makes him an important part of the team’s system.
The club’s management wishes the player continued success and good luck, and hopes he will continue to contribute in the red and white colors in the coming seasons,” the statement reads.
The extension underlines the club’s intention to build around emerging talent, with Boussouar regarded internally as a key figure in the squad’s attacking structure.
Having progressed through the youth ranks, the striker has established himself in the senior side during the current campaign, translating academy promise into regular first-team contributions.
This season, Boussouar has featured in 22 matches across all competitions, scoring six goals and registering one assist.
His involvement amounts to 1,208 minutes on the pitch, reflecting a growing role in competitive fixtures. Those numbers have helped shape his reputation as one of the club’s most promising young attackers.
By moving early to renew his deal, Belouizdad removes the risk of entering a prolonged contract stand-off while reinforcing continuity within the squad.
The decision also signals confidence in the player’s trajectory as he enters a crucial phase of his development.
For Boussouar, the agreement offers stability and the opportunity to continue refining his game in a familiar environment.
For the club, it represents a strategic commitment to youth development and performance consistency, ensuring that a homegrown forward remains central to plans for the coming seasons.
