Christian Kouamé has completed a move from Italy to Greece after signing for Aris FC, bringing his spell with Serie A side Fiorentina to an end.

The Greek club confirmed on Friday, 6 February 2026, that the Ivorian international striker had joined from ACF Fiorentina, marking a new chapter in his career after several seasons in Italian football.

Kouamé, who arrived in Florence in September 2020 from Genoa, departs Fiorentina having spent more than five years with the club.

Aris FC announced that the forward has signed a deal running until 2027, described as a contract lasting one and a half years, as the Thessaloniki-based side strengthen their attacking options.

Both clubs made the transfer official through statements released on their respective communication channels.

Aris FC welcomed their new signing by posting: Welcome to the ARIS FAMILY, Christian Kouamé.

Fiorentina also confirmed the move, stating: “ACF Fiorentina announces the final sale of the registration rights of player Christian Kouamé to Aris FC.”

During his time at Fiorentina, Kouamé featured regularly across domestic competitions, becoming a familiar figure in the squad.

In total, he made 145 appearances for the Viola, scoring 10 goals.

While his goal tally was modest, his work rate and versatility across the attacking line saw him trusted by successive coaches throughout his stay in Florence.

The move brings an end to Kouamé’s Serie A journey, which began with Genoa before his transfer to Fiorentina.

His experience in Italy’s top flight now adds to the credentials he brings to the Greek Super League, where he will be expected to contribute both on and off the pitch.

For Aris FC, the arrival of an established international forward represents a significant addition as the club looks to strengthen its squad for domestic competition.

Kouamé’s profile, shaped by years in a highly competitive league, is seen as an asset as he adapts to a new footballing environment in Thessaloniki.

As he settles into life in Greece, attention will turn to how quickly the striker can make an impact in his new colours.

The transfer closes a notable chapter of his career in Italy and opens another in the Greek Super League, where Kouamé will be aiming to revive his attacking output and play a central role for Aris FC over the remainder of his contract.
