Thomas Boakye is close to resuming his career in Sweden after months without a club, with the Ghanaian defender on the verge of signing for Ängelholms FF.
The 32-year-old former Halmstads BK player has been unattached since the end of his short spell in Iceland, but a return to familiar surroundings now appears imminent, with reports indicating that a deal could be announced soon.
According to HD.se, Ängelholms FF, who compete in Ettan Södra, have emerged as the leading contenders to secure Boakye’s signature.

Boakye last featured competitively during the 2024 season, when he joined Icelandic side UMF Njarðvík.
