Jeremie Boga has described his move to Juventus as the perfect step at the right moment, insisting he arrives in Turin at the peak of his powers and ready to make an immediate impact.
The Ivory Coast winger has joined the Bianconeri on loan from Nice until the end of the season, with Juventus holding an option to make the deal permanent. The switch marks a return to familiar territory for Boga, who previously impressed in Serie A with Sassuolo and Atalanta before moving to France.
Speaking during his presentation to the media on Monday, Boga made no secret of his excitement at wearing the black and white shirt.
“I’m very happy because, as a child, I dreamed of playing for a club of this size,” he said. “It’s a great honour and I can’t wait to get started.”
Boga believes the timing of the transfer could not be better. “I’m in the prime of my career,” he explained. “I’ve experienced a lot in football already, and I feel this is the right moment to play for such a great club. I came here to help the team and to express my qualities.”
Those qualities, he says, remain as sharp as ever. Known for his explosive dribbling, direct running and ability to create chances, Boga is confident he can add value to a Juventus side already packed with quality.
“Dribbling, scoring goals and providing assists have always been part of my game,” he said. “These are things that have been inside me since I was a child, and they don’t just disappear.”
The winger also stressed his desire to become even more decisive in the final third. He views the move as an opportunity to refine his end product and raise his numbers.
“I want to improve in the final metres, score more goals and deliver more assists. That’s something I’m focused on.”
Boga’s return to Serie A clearly excites him. He praised the league’s growing competitiveness and quality, describing Italy as an environment that suits his style of play. “Serie A is always a good league, with very strong teams, and the level has increased,” he noted. “I’m very happy to be back.”
He ended with a message for supporters, promising commitment and enthusiasm. “Hello to all Juventus fans. I’m really happy to be here and I can’t wait to see you at the stadium.”
